Let Me Direct You Elsewhere…

A Social Media Heart Check: I am finding myself needing to do this more and more. Maybe you need to also!

What Motherhood Teaches Us About Womanhood: Yes…a hundred times, yes! Excuse the Austenism. If you avoid this post out of fear it is not inclusive of all women…fear not! God’s purpose is that every woman—married or single, fertile or infertile—will bring forth life. Regardless of her marital status, occupation, or age, a woman’s greatest aim ought to be to glorify God and further His kingdom by reproducing—bearing spiritual fruit.

Boys Need Their Mothers: I am not my sons favorite. Dad is. This can often lead me to feel useless in the life of my boy. Of course I know that’s not true. But these kind of reminders help!

Lean In On Sunday Morning: Yes, loose the cynicism and lean in! The rehearsals of live theater, and the retakes and extensive edits of movies and television, may have conditioned our society to expect flawlessness on stage, but this is not the calling of corporate worship. Your pastors are not professional actors, and your leaders in music and song are not rock stars.

There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood: This will forever be one of my favorite hymns. Especially love it leading up to Easter. Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die. Yes it has!
