Let Me Direct You Elsewhere…

I have had a crazy couple of weeks, so staying on top of blogging has been a challenge. And even though our lives are about to get more crazy with my church’s daycamps starting up on Monday, I do hope that there will be no more illness’ infecting my home. I am tired of my kids being sick! So here we go with “let me direct you elsewhere…”

Killing Calvinism: I am really looking forward to reading this book. I have a feeling all of my recent theology frustration’s will be acknowledged in it. This is a link of 20 quotes from the book. And I couldn’t agree more!

The Importance Of Character: There is a big push for pastors to go to seminary and get good theology. Then Pastors are hired into the pastorate based on their training. I absolutely believe that theology matters, but not to the exclusion of ones character. Too many times have we seen a pastors dramatic fall from grace, all because there character was never checked. This is a great quote from Spurgeon!

It’s Always The Bacon: Even though my kids don’t really communicate with me yet, I look forward to these kinds of conversations with them. This made me laugh!

This Is The Gospel Project: This is kind of a neat video speaking of the gospel while using historical art to tell the story.

Take care!
